Jamie
United Kingdom, January  2025
7.0/10

We had a lovely time at the hotel, especially with the kids enjoying the animal-themed rooms and the amazing pool facilities. However, the dining experience was a letdown, particularly at dinner, where a lot of menu items were unavailable. We also faced noise issues during the night which impacted our sleep. Overall, while we appreciated the engaging atmosphere and activities, improvements are needed in dining and noise control for a better family experience.

Rooms
7.0
The animal-themed room was fully decorated, and my kids loved the bunk beds and treasure hunt. However, we had issues with a buzzing noise from nearby equipment and a TV that didn't work properly. We really enjoyed the view of the safari park from our window, which was a highlight. The room was clean but needed better maintenance, and it also lacked a bath, only providing a shower.
Service
6.0
The service in the restaurant was a bit chaotic; staff seemed overwhelmed and the atmosphere was uncomfortable due to quick turnover of plates. However, check-in was smooth, and some staff were friendly and helpful with park passes.
Location
8.0
The hotel is really close to the theme park, which made getting to the rides quick and easy. However, the noise from the outside bins early in the morning was quite disruptive.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was decent, but dinner at the Temple restaurant was disappointing since many items on the menu were unavailable and the atmosphere was lacking.
Facilities
9.0
The pool area was fantastic; well-maintained and pure fun for the kids. We particularly enjoyed the cleanliness and warmth of the pool, which allowed us to unwind after a busy day.

6.8/10

Our stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were spacious and well-themed, perfect for our kids, but the pillows left much to be desired. The service was friendly, but we had some issues that affected our overall experience. The dining options were varied, though the quality could have been better. A definite plus was the access to the theme park, which made our visit memorable despite some service flaws.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a separate area for the kids, which was a huge hit. However, the pillows were rock hard and affected my sleep until I switched them out.
Service
5.0
While there were a few staff members who were genuinely helpful, we encountered confusion and some lack of assistance when issues arose.
Location
9.0
The hotel was conveniently located next to the theme park, making it easy to jump in and out throughout the day.
Dining
6.0
The food offered a decent variety, but the quality didn't impress. It was easy for kids to help themselves, which was great, but we expected more.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the pool and easy access to the theme park were enjoyable, but we faced some discomfort due to temperature issues in the restaurant.

7.8/10

We had a fantastic time at the hotel, which is conveniently located right by the theme park entrance. The kids loved the animal-themed rooms and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. However, we faced some issues with dining, especially since we had to pre-book and the quality didn't quite meet our expectations. Also, the swimming pool was quite busy, making it hard for us to enjoy it completely.

Rooms
8.0
The animal-themed rooms were a hit with the kids, providing a fun atmosphere with nice little touches like chocolates left on the pillows. However, it was a bit cold during our stay and I wished there was a play area for the younger ones.
Service
9.0
The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to celebrate our child's birthday, which was a nice touch. Check-in was smooth, and they were helpful whenever we needed assistance.
Location
10.0
Being just steps away from the park was a major plus for us, making it super easy to head out for a day of fun without any hassle.
Dining
5.0
The dining options needed improvement. We found the Safari restaurant to be underwhelming, with food that was decent but not great, and many guests sharing the same frustration about not being able to book a table.
Facilities
7.0
The pool area was clean, but very crowded, which made it tough to get a good swim in. It's definitely a great addition for kids, just be prepared for it to be busy.

7.2/10

Our stay was overall enjoyable, especially for the kids, thanks to the delightful animal-themed rooms and the engaging pool area. The staff were friendly, and we loved the character interactions during breakfast. However, the dining experience let us down, particularly with the quality of food in the restaurants. While the hotel offers a lot for families, some aspects could be improved for the price we paid.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious and delightfully decorated with a unique animal theme that the kids adored. There was a separate sleeping area for children, which allowed for privacy. However, the pillows were quite uncomfortable.
Service
7.0
The service was generally friendly and helpful, especially when they allowed us to check in early. However, not all staff seemed enthusiastic about their roles.
Location
9.0
The location is excellent, being just a stone's throw from the theme park, which made access super easy for our family outings.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a mixed bag; while breakfast had plenty of choices, the quality of food at the Temple restaurant did not meet our expectations.
Facilities
7.0
The leisure facilities, including the pools, were fun and kept the kids entertained. However, the cleanliness around some areas could definitely be improved.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The theming in the rooms was enjoyable for my son, but overall the experience felt a bit chaotic, especially during meals. While the facilities, like the pool, were fun, I found the dining options lacking, both in quality and organization. The price seemed high for what we received, but we did appreciate the convenient proximity to the theme park.

Rooms
7.0
We stayed in one of the themed monkey rooms, which was spacious and had a fun design for the kids. However, it felt a bit basic overall.
Service
6.0
Service was friendly, especially from the staff at reception, but the overall efficiency could use improvement, particularly during breakfast.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located right next to the theme park, making it easy to head out for a day of fun.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was frustrating, as we faced issues with our breakfast reservation and the food quality wasn't great.
Facilities

The pool area was enjoyable for the kids, and the splash park added a nice touch, although there were times it felt a bit crowded.
